Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, explains easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell was employed for a time in New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary traditions and landscape. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was inspired by food. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in restaurant management after she earned the English and Communications degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an amazing learning experience for me. I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. After graduating, chef Burrell resided in Italy for a whole year studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin highly rated restaurant) in Tuscany. In Italy Burrell developed a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. It is a huge influence on how Burrell prepares her food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens the lives of children facing challenges. She is also an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. As a speaker, she travels across the nation to share her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate that I could communicate her love of cooking to the people around her.
