Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress best known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as the voice work and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. She was a competitor in Irish dance throughout her childhood and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by making a guest appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, then went on to play guest-starring roles in shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March to November 2007, she was the main character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. She has also worked in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After the two seasons of 24 Wersching appeared on a variety of guest shows such as CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). Also, she was a regular in the series of the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was announced that Wersching played the voice actor and mocap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's Twitter page before she was revealed in the story trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching will play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
